Olympic Protesters

Honestly now. Protesting the Olympics? Ugh. It's fine if you're not in the spirit. It's fine if you would rather the Olympics were not in your backyard. It's fine. Really. But stopping the torch relay route to get some publicity?? Get an effing life. I rarely get really really REALLY pissed off watching TV. Hard to believe...I know. But yeah. Seeing those protesters really rubbed me the wrong way. Not only are you raining on Canada's parade, you're completely robbing a special moment from the torch carriers. There were a bunch of Veterans at the Cenotaph waiting for their turn with the torch. It never happened because the stupid protesters blocked the torch route. They had to re-route to somewhere that there weren't even any spectators to get around the dumb asses. Those poor Veterans. It pisses me off that these selfish people need to completely ruin something so special in order to get some publicity for themselves. Anyway. That's my rant for the moment. I'm sure I'll be back later today. I'm now going to watch more Olympic coverage.
