Everything was off today. The kids were a little extra grumpy. I'm thinking they're getting sick of being sick. I get it. Liam was up at 7 this morning, and back down again by 9. He slept for 2 hours. He then went back for a short cat nap at 1. Sleepy sleepy boy. He's also been running around with no pants on all day. We're on day 2 of hardcore potty training. We had one accident today, but it was completely my fault. He was asking or tell me something in his own language and I didn't understand him, so I turned around to do something and he peed his pants. He was so embarrassed. We had a quick chat about it and he felt better. We decided he'd go without pants and unders for the rest of the day so he could communicate better if he needed to go potty. It's been working! I'm so proud of him!
Nolan, after his epic nap yesterday (3.5 hours) was only into cat napping today. He seems to go like that. Good nap day not so good nap day. Whatever, even his 'bad' napping days are 100 times better than Spencer or Liam's naps ever were!
Spencer has been back talking like it's going out of style. I've resorted to one warning and then a smack on the face. I don't know what else to do. He's getting so incredibly lippy. Time outs aren't doing ANYTHING. I need a more severe punishment that will have a lasting effect on him.
I've had a considerable amount of 'get up and go' to get things done around the house today. I've attacked the laundry, cleaned our bedroom, cleaned toilets, I have plans to vacuum the basement after the babes are all in bed (sooooooooon!!) This house has been neglected for a LONG while and needs a really good and deep clean. That's my mission this week. I'll let you know how it goes.
