Really. I feel like I'm living in Kitimat again. It's done nothing but rain for the past few weeks. Last night when I went to bed, I checked the weather forecast (cause I'm cool like that) and it said it was going to rain today and then be sunny for the next 4 days. So, this morning I checked again and BAM! Rain for as long as I can see. This sucks. We had a nice but windy day yesterday, we were able to get out for a walk last night. The kids loved it. Nolan reached his happy limit about 5 minutes from home though. They all slept AMAZING last night! In fact, Nolan is still snoozin'. But the rain? Seriously. The grass is green, the forest fire threat is practically non existent. Lets get on with the sunshine already.
We're going down to Red Deer to visit the Great Grands on Saturday and then carrying on to Olds for a maybe sleep over at my Ma's house! We'll play it by ear with the kids. If they're good, we'll sleep over, if they're little holy terrors, we'll strap them to the roof of the van and go home!
It's amazing that it's been 2 weeks since my last post and I have NOTHING entertaining to tell. Oh, I got my new bread machine on Tuesday. I am in LOVE with this thing. I'm gonna get fatter than I already am with this thing. The whole wheat bread this baby cranks out is nothing short of amazing! Light, fluffy, tasty!! PRESERVATIVE FREE!! Oh yah baby!! But that's it. Nothing else really noteworthy has gone down at Ches Thackeray. Sorry for boring you to tears!
