Mish Mash!

So we have our ultrasound (FINALLY) on thursday to find out who's living in my belly!! Then on Friday morning we hit the road for day one of our trek back home! I went and bought all kinds of horribly unhealthy snacks that I know the kids love and will hopefully eat and stay quiet. We bought one of those fancy coolers that you plug into your 12V outlet in your car so that we can pack fresh fruits and things...eliminating the need to eat in restaurants!! I started organizing the boys clothes, finished off the spare bedroom...need to buy new bed though! The one in there SUCKS! I hate the last few days before we leave for vacation! I'm always so stressed thinking we don't have enough time to do everything I think we need to do!!! (we have PLENTY OF TIME!) My house is cleaned, I just need to maintain now! I made Dan clean his bathroom this weekend, and the garage, so we're good there! The kids bathroom is clean, just need to wipe it down! I have to change all the bedding the morning we leave, and keep up with the vacuuming! SHouldn't be too hard!! It's just that i have NO energy lately! I think this pregnancy is starting to get to me! But then again, it just might be my overly lazy nature taking over!! That's the more likely scenario!

I can't pack my own stuff up until the night before we leave. I don't have a large wardrobe, so everything I need to pack, I still need out so I can wear it!! Maternity clothes are EXPENSIVE so I only buy things that I knew will last me start to finish, and through the postpartum phase! How saavy of me! HAH!

Dan packs his own things...the last time he had me pack for him...we were going across the country for a wedding, I forgot his suit, underwear, socks and shoes. Go me!! So, we had to stop at a mall 33 seconds after getting out of the airport so that he could restalk the suitcase!! I'm not good under pressure people!!!

Liam looks like he's gone through a warzone. The kid went running full tilt into the front of the BBQ on saturday night and now has this lovely red mark on his forehead that I think is going to take a while to go away. He's happy though and it doesn't seem to hurt him. Just looks like he got the mother of all beatings this weekend!

Spencer had a good weekend! Few tantrums, no tongue sticking out...TWO naps!!! It was nice! He helped daddy clean the garage, he helped put the spare room back together, watched an unhealthy amounto of cartoons and generally had a great time!! I like weekends where it doesn't feel like we're fighting him nonstop!!

Anyway, the dryer just finished...oooo look at me on the ball!! 9:30 in the morning and my first of 3 loads of laundry is done!!! OOOOOO AAAAAAA!!! hahaha
