I suck

at keeping up with this blog. It's not even a labour intensive thing. Which, if you know me, know that 'physically demanding' is not my 'thing'. So, why the hell can't I even keep up with posting to a blog once a day? You got me there. I have no idea.

Anyway, tomorrow i'll be 15 weeks pregnant. Already. I can't believe how fast it's going! I've been feeling little pokes and flutters for the past week or so. I like this stage, before it turns into full on beatings from the inside. Nothing like a nice shot to the kidney from the inside. Things have been going really smoothly. So smooooothly in fact, that last night I was saying to my husband that aside from the non existent monthly cycle and the fact that my belly is growing, I don't feel pregnant at all. I guess I equate pregnancy with being retardedly sick for 40 weeks. Dare I say that I'm kinda enjoying the pregnancy thing this time around!

Kids. The 2 existing kids in my house. They're progressing well. Spencer has aquired a whole new language consisting of, but not limited to, cuss words, slang words and any other 'words' that you probably don't want your 2.5 year old saying out in public. Fun. Liam has decided that he is now a tempermental 1 year old cling on. This kid needs to be on, or touching me every waking hour of every day. Crazy I tell you. Good thing they're both still cute as hell!!!

Well, that's all I can think of for today. Later!

12

Today I am 12 weeks pregnant. So far, I've lost 11lbs. I'm eating, good lord am I eating. If it's not bolted down, it's in my mouth. I have hunger people!! Still no morning sickness of any kind. I gag when I brush my teeth, but pregnant or not, I have a super sensitive gag reflex.

Last Tuesday we had our first prenatal appointment. It was so nice to see the nurses and my OB again!! Our OB was a little miffed that we didn't bring Liam in with us so she could see him!! I love that woman! When we were pregnant with Liam, we always brought Spencer with us to the appointments. Dr. Wonderful always let him help her with the doppler and also with the measuring. He loved it so much! We'll bring Liam with us for the next appointment, but I think that'll be all. It's a pain in the butt to bring kids because she's usually running late, so the kids get bored and slightly pissy!! Anyway, back to the appointment. I was one day shy of 11 weeks, and the God that is our OB found the baby's heart beat!! We've never ever heard it this early!! We were 15 weeks along when we hears Spencers hb, and 16 weeks along when we heard Liam. I always thought it was because i'm a little 'thicker' than the average girl. Guess not!

Things around the homestead are going well. I started painting my bedroom on Sunday with the help of a friend. Always makes the work seem a little less like work. I'm excited because in all the places Dan and I have lived together, we've never gotten around to really doing our room how we want. We've never made it 'our space'. So, this is what we're doing. I've priced out all the furniture I want. I have a few hundred dollars saved, I need about a thousand more and we'll be good to go. I'm just going to purchase pieces in stages, when we can afford it. This thursday, I'll be buying night stands!! Ooooo!

Liam has discovered his temper in the past few days. Let me tell you that boy is a screamer. He goes from zero to super pissed in half a second, and then back to happy as a clam just as fast. He's more like his mother than he'll ever know!!!

Spencer has started throwing tantrums at pretty regular intervals. It's definitely testing me. He's always been such an easy going laid back dude. Lately, I don't know what to do with him! I have no idea how to deal with a less than delightful child!! Guess it's time to put on my big girl panties and get things back under control!

Anyway, this is a lot longer than I intended, gonna go play trains with my boys!
